Between representatives of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy and SOCAR was held a meeting within the framework of cooperation of mutual interest for the oil and gas industry in the application of modern methods and technologies.
According to AZERTAC, the Academy’s representatives attended the meeting: Vice-President of the Engineering Academy, academician Ahad Janahmadov; General Director of the Research and Production Association, member of the Academy, professor Kamal Askarov; Vice-Rector of the National Aviation Academy, professor Khagani Abdullayev; director of the Research Institute, member of the Academy, associate professor Aydin Musayev; Deputy Head of Production and Testing Practice Faig Aleskerov; Head of the department of the Institute Anvar Isaev. From SOCAR’s side, a group of eight company representatives took part in the event under the leadership of the Deputy Head of the Department of Guarantee and Quality Control of the SOCAR Central Office, Sabir Mammadov.
First, SOCAR representatives got acquainted with the research and production departments of the academy, then round-table discussions took place. During the discussions, participants exchanged a wide range of ideas and opinions on modern methods and technologies related to increasing oil and gas production during the exploitation of SOCAR oil and gas fields.
Then a presentation by Professor Kamal Askarov took place, the guests were presented with a catalog of new equipment and instruments produced at the academy.
Following the meeting, it was decided to continue discussions, develop cooperation and exchange of views to eliminate emerging problems.
