The next meeting of the Board of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy was held. The Concept of Action of the Engineering Academy for the years 2024-2030 was discussed at the meeting.
The President of the Academy, Academician Arif Pashayev, noted in his speech that the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy was elected a full member of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) under UNESCO.
WFEO – is the internationally recognized and chosen leader of the engineering profession and cooperates with national and other international professional institutions in being the lead profession in developing and applying engineering to constructively resolve international and national issues for the benefit of humanity.
WFEO serves society and is recognized as a respectable and valuable source of advice and guidance on the policies, interests and concerns that relate to engineering and technology.
It was emphasized that the integration of engineering ideas into the world community will be accelerated in the field of cooperation of Azerbaijan Engineering Academy with WFEO, International Academy of Engineering and Engineering Federation of Islamic Countries, the achievements of the academy will increase further, international cooperation with different countries will develop in the future and its boundaries will be expanded with other academies. This achievement is the best platform for leading scientists, engineers and researchers to share their scientific results, conduct active discussions and develop technical programs. For this purpose, the Concept of Action of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy for 2024-2030 was developed and accepted.
The Long-Term Concept of Action will improve the management structure and activity of the academy, reduce the negative impact of people on the ecosystem, and play a major role in defining state programs, strategies, and legal acts in the field of science and technology, modern technologies. The Concept will make a positive contribution to the economic, social and spiritual life of our country.
