The next issue (Vol. 17, No. 3) of the international scientific and technical journal “HERALD of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy” has been published. Headed by Editor-in-Chief, academician Arif Pashayev, the journal highlights various topical issues, serving as a source of scientific and engineering thought.
According to AZERTAC, the journal, published in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian, presents in its latest issue research articles under the sections “Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering,” “Oil and Gas,” “Chemistry and Chemical Technology,” and “Information Technologies.” These studies focus on current problems relevant to their respective fields.
Among the articles featured in the journal are: “Stress-Strain State of the Developed Single-Disc Shoe Brake of a Drilling Winch”, “Characteristic Features of the Movenment o Elastic-Viscoplastic Fluids in Pipelines and Formations”, “Comparative Analysis of Composites Based on Corresponding Natural Minerals and Their Strength”, and “Solving the Problem of Determining an Intelligent Decision-Making System in the Industrial Safety Management System” . These and other articles will be of great interest to specialists and researchers working in related disciplines.
It should be noted that the journal, first published in November 2009, is issued quarterly. Journal was included into the list of education for publication of result of candidate and doctoral thesis by the supreme Attestation Commission Attached to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The journal is part of the project “Russian Science Citation Index” (RSCI).
