The Azerbaijan Engineering Academy held an extensive program of events on March 4 – World Engineering Day. The event was attended by representatives of the Academy members as well as future engineers.
Participants of the event dedicated to World Engineering Day were shown a message from the President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, academician Arif Pashayev, and were also presented with a letter of welcome from the President of WFEO (World Federation of Engineering Organizations), Dr. Seng Chuan Tan.
The opening speech was delivered by the Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy, academician Ahad Janahmadov, after which the event continued with a presentation and a video titled “Azerbaijan Engineering Academy – Engineering Thoughts in Action!”.
After that, academician Mehman Hasanov of the Engineering Academy gave a report on “Tendecies in development of information and engineering competencies in the modern technical education.”
Following the official part, an award ceremony was held in honor of World Engineering Day.
At the end, commemorative photographs were taken.
