
Outstanding Azerbaijani scientist, Academician Ahad Janahmadov, has been awarded another prestigious international honor.
According to Modern.az, he has received the “Leonhard Euler” Medal presented by the European Academy of Natural Sciences, based in Hannover, Germany. Let’s note, Academician Ahad Janahmadov is the first Azerbaijani scientist to receive this distinguished award.
The medal was awarded in recognition of his outstanding global contributions to science and education, following a decision by the Academy’s International Awards Committee.

The “Leonhard Euler” Medal is named after one of the greatest mathematicians of the 18th century, Leonhard Euler (1707–1783), and is presented to distinguished scholars from various countries for excellence in science, education, and international scientific cooperation.
This award is considered an important event for strengthening the international prestige of Azerbaijani science.
