The international scientific-technical journal
“Herald of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy”
is seeking a TECHNICAL EDITOR
Requirements:
- Excellent command of Russian and English;
- Skills in editing, reviewing, and typesetting scientific texts;
- Experience in academic writing style, terminology, and content editing is an advantage;
- Ability to perform technical editing of articles according to the journal’s formatting guidelines;
- Experience working with the OJS system (preferred);
- Responsible, accurate, and able to work efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving manuscripts via e-mail and the journal website, and preparing them according to technical requirements;
- Formatting text, figures, tables, and reference lists;
- Checking the accuracy of DOI, metadata, and other technical parameters;
- Working in coordination with the editorial board;
- Compiling journal issues and preparing them for print and electronic publication.
Education and Experience:
- Higher education (in humanities, technical, or applied fields);
- Experience in editing or publishing is desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position;
- Working hours: 09:00–18:00, lunch break 13:00–14:00
(public holidays and national mourning days are non-working days); - Training is provided;
- Salary will be determined based on the interview results.
